Italian poppies

Its been a long time, since I posted something on my blog. Partly, because I don’t paint too much these days;  I am busy with my growing company. My whole inspiration is sucked out by this project, which needs a lot of time and attention.  But I miss the whole painting process and am thinking to start painting soon again, when I am more or less clear about my working schedule.

Today, I wanted to show you the painting inspired by the tuscan landscape. A married couple, Jola and Marco, very good friends of mine, asked me to paint something vivid and bright to add the splash of color into their dining room.  The preference was on a side of a European landscape, with roofs, sea shore and some nature.

So, I decided that Tuscan landscape with red roofs and poppies will look very nice and will make a great colorful statement on the wall.

White, black and brown abstract

I moved to a new apartment recently. So, this abstract painting came in handy. I like how it fills in the empty white wall with other nice painting, which I will post lately. It creates the nice texture of layers and new layers pop out when you turn the lights on.

Абстракция для современного дома

Недавно переехала в новую квартиру. Эта картина как раз подошла под стиль нового жилища.  Мне нравится как она заполняет пустую белую стену и создает интересную  слойную текстуру в компании с другой картиной, которую я  скоро опубликую здесь.

Надо бы еще нарисовать две абстракции, чтобы квартира имела законченный вид. Поэтому не забывайте посещать мой блог.  Будут обновления!!!

Stonehenge

I love  England. To my luck I rarely catch the rain there, but I always carry the rain type of clothes with me. Я люблю Англию. К моему счастью, я редко там попадаю под дождь. Однако всегда с собой в поездки беру “дождливую” одежду.Этот набросок запечатлел момент, где я сидела в своем любимом розовом плаще и смотрела на вечный Стоунзендж. Была весна.

Awesome day

I love my velvet scarf,  the one I bought in London three years ago.  One day I was sitting near the window looking at it. The bottle of sparkling wine was standing by and fruits reflected in it.   The day was awesome.

Замечательный день

Мне нравится мой бархатный шарф, который я купила в Лондоне два или три года назад. В один день, сидя у окна, я рассматривала тот самый шарф, рядом стояла бутылка шипучего вина и фрукты красиво отражались в ней. День был замечательный.

Sunset

I always wanted to paint just shadows.  Sometimes, I would  take the photo of my shadow on the buildings, sidewalk or the tree.

This painting was inspired by the photo, that I saw online. It had a family of camels, standing on the setting red sun. It is so fascinating how two dimensional shadows can actually become real  animals on the painting.

Закат

Мне всегда хотелось нарисовать просто  тень. Иногда я фотографирую свою тень на зданиях, земле и деревьях.

Эту картину я нарисовала под впечатлением от фотографии, на которой семья верблюдов стоит на бархане, на фоне заходящего красного солнца. Поразительно, как плоские тени могут превратиться в настоящих животных на картине.

Calla lillies

I love painting flowers as much as I love to do florals. Today I updated my floral decor page and therefore, decided to post another Flower painting. Calla lily used to be my favorite flower before I started working for event design. Now, i can see my taste is changing, but i still admire this flower a lot. Its very flexible and makes perfect arrangements alone or in composition with other flowers.

Каллы

Я обожаю рисовать цветы, также как я обожаю делать букеты и различные украшения из цветов. Сегодня я обновила свою страничку по Цветочному Декору, поэтому решила поставить на блог очередную картину с цветами.

Каллы были моими фаворитами , пока я не начала работать с цветами. Сейчас мой вкус меняется и я точно не могу назвать любимый цветок, но  все также являюсь поклонником каллы. Этот цветок смотрится очень эффектно, как в одиночку, так и в компании других цветов.

Steppe in spring

This Monday I went to the concert of Kazakh ensemble “Turan”.  Through their play I could hear the wind blowing between yurtas in steppe, the wailing of wolves, the singing of women and the horse run.  It was amazing and my heart filled with home sickness.

I decided to post the painting, which was inspired by the spring in steppe, when its red of poppies and the air is so fresh, you cannot have enough of it.

“Весна в степи”

В понедельник я ходила на концерт казахского ансамбля “Туран”.  Они с таким мастерством и вдохновением играли на народных казахских инструментах, что слушатели могли слышать свист ветра между юртами, волчий вой, голоса поющих женщин и топот бегущих коней. Их игра была божественна, и звуки степи нагнали на меня тоску по дому.

И вот я решила в этот раз показать картину про весну в степи, когда земля становится красной от маков, и воздух настолько свеж и чист, что не можешь надышатся.
